So, this is my first part of the story. I'm going to give you a lot, but it will keep you entertained. :P The first part is Ammar's side (the guy I made up) and the second is Aria's side of the same story. Enjoy!!!
Ammar trudged across the rocky, desert ground of Tattooine. The sun was hot even though it was only a few hours till sundown, and it was baking him under his Jedi cloak. Well, technically, it was a Padawan cloak, because he was only 16 and not old enough to be a Jedi. They had been walking since they had gotten to the planet that morning on a mission to survey it and see if it would be possible for the New Republic to rule there. The sweat that was plastering his brown hair to his forehead was annoying him to no end, but he was too tired to wipe it away. “Ammar!” an old voice called. He rolled his eyes and slowly turned around to face a man about 20 feet behind him. The man wasn’t too old, but white hair and beard showed that he had more than a few years behind him. “You should stay closer to me. I sense that we are getting closer to the town.” Ammar looked at where he was supposed to be going but waited on a rock for the old man. All he could see in front of him was a huge cliff about 200 feet away. “Where are we going to sleep, Master Jhi?” Ammar asked when the man got closer. “ I don’t know,” Jhi said, sitting down next to Ammar. “We will probably ask to stay at the next house we come to.” “Why? We usually don’t try to disturb the locals.” “ I just have a feeling this house is different.”As they came over the top of the cliff, they saw the town for the first time. The city was beginning to light up for the night business since it was about one hour till sundown. They knew that they wouldn’t reach it until well after night. When they wrer about half way to the city, Ammar spoted a house and pointed it out to Jhi. “Is that what you wrere talking about?” Jhi simled and nodded. They walked up to and Jhi knocked. There was no answer. Ammar was puzzled. “Was your plan to find an abandon house and sleep in it?” he said sarcastically. Jhi hushed him and said quietly, “I sense something in there.” “Are you sure it’s not just a cat, because I do that a lot.” Jhi glared at him and pointedly said, “That is because you have not learned to control your power and use it to your greatest advantage, Padawan.” Ammar glared back but then diverted his eyes to the ground. Just then, the door creaked open just enough for a girl to poke her cautious head out. The girl looked to be about Ammar’s age, she was very surprised, almost scared to see them, and she was very pretty. Not as pretty as some of the girls he had seen on other planets, but she was pretty in her own way. He looked at his Master to see if this was still part of his plan but Jhi just bowed slightly and asked the girl, “May we come inside?”
Aria looked out on the city of Tattooine. The sun was hitting it just right. If it didn’t hate her so much, she would have wanted to remember that scene forever. But no, they despised her. Well, not so much hated, as much as…. Was afraid of. She could do things that only Jedi or Sith could do. Either way, that spelled out doom for most of the city. She was awakened from her daydream by the remembrance that she still had to cook her supper. As she started cutting up the meat, the dog trotted in and looked at her longingly. “No, you cannot have any, Ash.” Ash cocked her head and kept staring. Aria waved her hand in front of the dog’s face and Ash walked away. Aria looked at her hands, wondering what other power they had in them. All of a sudden, there was a knock at the door. Aria pinned herself to the wall, terrified. No matter who it was, she was sure they weren’t friendly. She crept over to the window next to the door. There was an old man with white hair and next to him was a boy, probably her age and cute. Brown, wavy hair, nice, strong build, almost the type of guy Aria had only dreamed about. He was talking. “Was your plan to find an abandon house and sleep in it?” “I sense something in there.” He ‘sensed’? What did that mean? Wait! That was a Jedi term! These must be jedi! She became even more frantic as the boy started talking again. “Are you sure it’s not just a cat, because I do that a lot.” Pause. “That is because you have not learned to control your power and use it to your greatest advantage, Padawan.”
